BN denied 2/3 of the Parliamentary Seats

8th of March may seem the most disastrous day for Barisan Nasional..the first thing that will be marked in the History of General Election for our country Malaysia will be the no-more 2/3 Parliamentary Seats after BN only accumuate up to 136 Parliamentary seats which is 61.26% of the seats. While the rest is taken by Opposition of PKR-DAP-PAS. However, they still gain the simple majority win to form the next government which schedule that our Prime Minister, Pak Lah will be meeting with our Agung about the upcoming government. To get the 2/3, BN needed 66.67% but unfortunately the case didn't happen this year.

It was definitely a gruelling competition of the votes yesterday, I was up-to-date with the news from 8pm to 4.30am this morning. And I have been updating with the news from MalaysiaKini.com and our TV program(RTM 1, NTV7, 8TV, Channel 501 n 502 in astro). It was pretty interesting to see two media showing diverse results as Malaysia Kini probably I can say shows the latest results, while the TV keep showing the BN winning results. And definitely, when the facts is spoken out, the facts will still remain as FACTS!

And the best part is, my hometown MUAR's seats of MUAR, BENTAYAN AND BAKRI results was release at 7.30pm when I was by passing a CD shop and the lady there told us that DAP won the Bentayan and Bakri sites. It was definitely a surprising time for us as DAP had constantly compete in that area and had constantly be disappointed but this year, it was a big turnaround and definitely for me as Muarian, it was surprisingly crazy as Johor is one of BN's stronghold.

The next thing that makes the whole GE2008 interesting is the Winning of Penang and the nearby areas. And seriously, I'm still underaged for this GE, but I'm definitely very interested in this type of things as since young I was expose to this type of things. Furthermore, when I was back in my National Service camp, I was the Opposition Party in a representative election program. I lose only 43 votes with 80 plus spoilt votes which saw 60 plus of those votes are mine. That's why this got me even kick up in seeing this election. And this year it's special and probably speculative as we want to see how Internet change the perception in our country and how the citizens response towards the 4 years under BN. And definitely, this election truly had showed that our citizens are very aware of their surroundings. Probably in small villages and small towns, we can't see that much of the difference, but the winning in KL, Selangor, Penang, Perak and Kelantan saw the big changes of BIG CITIES people in our country. And that's the freedom of voting, and that's how Malaysian thought about the government.

SURPRISES definitely VERY BIG..but..at least this gives all the Ministers a big awakening pill that saw the citizens say, "WAKEY WAKEY!!! YOU WANT SOME BREAKFAST, WORK FOR IT!!"

That thing that actually surprise me and impress me is the determination of this year's opposition party. Definitely, PAS had mellowed down which last time we called the the religious extremist, but nowadays, they are no longer the same as before that's why all races other than Muslims also vote for them. And for PKR and DAP also had changed their mentality with all three of them combine to form UNITY like how last time Parti Perikatan did, and we can see that even Malay voters go for DAP. This is the improvement and realisation of the nation and this proves that MALAYSIA IS MULTI-RACIAL AND MULTI-UNITY..and definitely, it's not only BN can work those things out, THE OTHER PARTY CAN DO THE SAME..that's how GE2008 its so History Marking.

And these are the names of people who impress me alot for this General Election 2008..
  1. Dato' Sri Anwar Ibrahim
  2. Lim Kit Siang
  3. Karpal Singh
  4. Nurul Azizah
  5. Datuk Hadi Awang
