Earning through Blogs..

This entry is my first time writing a paid post. So I'm still pretty unsure on how things goes around through writing paid post. And as I mentioned a lot of time before, 'BLOGs' will one day be the medium of ADVERTISEMENTS in this very world. As advertising through the Internet are much cheaper and more effective compare to printed media. So let's think about it.

So, today my entry will be reviewing the post that brought me to PayPerPost, that is through Lilian Chan or 5xmom. Lilian Chan have this entry about the 'Secrets to Make Money?' and it is about generating revenue through Google Adsense. Honestly, I really agree with what Lilian's commented. In fact, her blog really help me a lot in understanding more about 'BLOGGING it NICE, BLOGGING it RIGHT'.

Let me start, the post that 5xmom mention about earning through blogs, specifically through Adsense. Google Adsense is one of the tools by Google to help advertisers promote specified advertisements on your blogs. The type of ads will be depending on your blog. I have two blogs as you all know. One of them is the one you all are reading now and the other is my ~golf~ blog. To compare both, I can really tell you that my golf blog generate more revenue through Adsense than this blog. Probably because Adsense can give me a more specific ADS, that is all about Golf rather than this blog, with tonnes of topic.

So through Lilian's post, it is still possible to earn money through Adsense. But we must be clever in putting the Ads and all sort. As she quoted, '..you need high traffic and a clever blend of ads to make it looks like it is not ads. It also depends on your target surfers". Target surfers are important because they are the one who read your blogs daily.

Besides that, she also mentioned about earning MORE through Adsense. Having multiple blogs to gain money from Adsense is definitely the better way. As she mentioned, unless you have a very high traffic (your audience) daily, earning through Adsense just by depending on 1 blog may seem irrelevant. And I truly agree that because I have tried putting Adsense tool in just one blog, the amount really seem discouraging. As I followed what she say, that is to have multiple blogs with each have their specific topics, you positively earn more than just one blog. It is really pathetic when you see the amount you earn through Adsense and you definitely know you deserve better. Also from her advise, I took up PayPerPost.com. I'm still quite new in this PayPerPost thingy but I was really amazed to see some bloggers earning $500 USD just by reviewing advertisers' products. So if you guys want to try out, you all can register with it. HEHE..and to help me also ya, use the PayPerPost referrals in my sidebar and register.

Reviewing Other's Post..

These few times in my blog I keep telling you all about earning some pennies through either Google Adsense, or some other. I did make some research through other bloggers who make a lot of money(i mean quite a lot la, for me). And of course we got Nuffnang, but for Nuffnang is we have to wait and see our opportunity. Obviously, no company will give you their ads if your traffic is not high right. So, today I'm going to review about other great bloggers's blog. One of them is none other than (which i have it in my ~blog til celebs~ link) the owner of the 5xmom.com, Lilian Chan. And I'm going to review on her blog about THE SECRETS OF EARNING MONEY, of course through blogging.

Though for some of you all, blogging and earn money might not be an interesting topic for you all. As you all might think, this is a very risky thing or the earning might be little. Probably as what I can say now is, your mentality about that might be wrong. Trust me..its partially wrong..hehe..this is because as we can see from bloggers like Kenny Sia (the one i always mentioned), 5xmom's Lilian Chan, Malaysia's prominent Jeff Ooi and also Shaolin Tiger's Gareth Davies and many more. They have proven that through blogging some small earning is possible and even big is never impossible. So guys, what can't we trust people who have succeeded in this stuff. We should right??

As for the review will be about the SECRETS through Adsense. As many of my friends have tried, and even Timothy Tiah, the founder of NuffNang even quoted that " It seems like forever to get anything out of it" (adapted from the Star InTech, 29 May 2007). Also as Lilian also say, "Unless you are ready to walk the path of an internet marketeer where they promise you sky high income, sell you an Adsense kit and ask you to go out and sell more".
However, she added "I have four blogs which do generate higher income and some of them had hit as much as USD20 in one day. But then, those were the days during the World Cup and Siti Nurhaliza fever". Also "you need high traffic and a clever blend of ads to make it looks like it is not ads. It also depends on your target surfers. Maybe I am luckier because my blogs attract the not-so-tech-savvy (a nicer name for noobs) so clicks through rate (CTR) are higher".

So, as in my opinion, from what I understand from Lilian's secret. It is not impossible to get money generating from Google Adsense. But probably we need more blogs, each with a specific topic to get our specific audience. I may understand bloggers who faces difficulties getting money from Adsense, cause I'm actually one of the 'victim'..hehe..But with 5xmom's owner helps, help me to make the decision to split some of my blog section,(as mention to you all earlier in my last few post) to different, and more specific topic in those blogs. As Adsense, will post their ads depending on what topic you have, more relevant ads can be publish according to your target audience if your blog is specific enough. So we shall try it.

As for your information, do try and blog and get Adsense, or the one I'm doing right now that is PayPerPost(PPP), ReviewMe, TextLinkAds and of course go to NuffNang. You will be surprise by how it is done. Probably we should evolve ourself to modern IT world, as Print media (the traditional common way to ads, which is much expensive ;i mean MUCH MORE expensive) will slowly bit by bit dimish and online ads being more common. Com'on there are over 459million Internet users in this world. Think bout it...
